Braided hairstyles never go out of style and, as such, are constantly being reinvented. From regular three-strand plaits to more intricately woven looks, there are many different styles to choose from. Two of our favorites happen to be the fishtail and the messy side braid.
The big question is, which one gets your vote?
The fishtail is a gorgeous alternative to regular braided styles. With a fine herringbone structure, it's an eye-catching 'do that looks pretty on everyone. As you can see from the photo above, it looks great in a simple side braid, but you can also create a braided crown or bun with a fishtail technique.
Styling tip - Before you start braiding, spray your hair with L'Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Fine Control Hairspray , then secure your hair into a loose pony. This will help to hold the braid in place while you work, then you can just remove the elastic when you're done.
A messy side braid that's woven around the top of the head is a lovely, bohemian style that is a bit like a braided crown. It works especially well with a tousled, messy texture and is another braided style that can be adapted to look good on anyone with hair long enough to recreate it with!
Styling tip - Get the perfect messy texture to braid with by applying Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Tousle Waves Spray, then blow-dry your hair in large twists.
What do you think? Which braided hairstyle would you wear?
