As bridal updos go, this low chignon with cute braids and a tousled, boho texture is definitely one of the more romantic hairstyles you should consider for your big day. It's oh so pretty, and it leaves plenty of room for a veil if you want to wear one. To find out how to trial this updo ahead of your upcoming nuptials, all you need to do is follow the tutorial below!
How to style it
Step 1
Section clean, towel dried hair, then apply a texturizing heat protectant spray to each section. Once you're sure you've got even coverage from roots to ends, rough dry your hair until it's only slightly damp, using your hands instead of a brush.
Step 2
To finish the blowout, twist a piece of hair and dry it the rest of the way while you hold it by the ends. Repeat all around your head. This will create an undone, wavy texture.
Step 3
Once it's all dry, shake your fingers through your hair to break it up a bit, then rake it all back off your face.
Step 4
Section off two pieces of hair, one on each side of your face, then gather everything else into a low ponytail.
Step 5
Twist the ponytail into a messy bun and secure with large bobby pins. If you need to, you can always add texture with an old toothbrush after pinning the bun into place.
Step 6
Loosely braid one of the front pieces of hair, then pin it back over the top of the bun. Do the same on the other side.
Step 7
Complete the look with a generous mist of strong hold hairspray. That's it!
