New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016 is in full swing and apart from the awe-inspiring looks being showcased on the runway this year the hairdos are totally stealing our hearts. If you aren't keeping abreast of all the gorgeous hairstyles that are trending this season, fear not! We'll help you keep track of the hottest and the coolest hairdos seen at Fashion Week.

Here are the top three NYFW Spring/Summer 2016 women's hairstyles that we're sure you'll love to try:

The Wet Look

1. The Wet Look

The just-out-of-the-shower look is a sureshot hit this year and we've seen several variations of the chic damp hair on and off the runway. Amongst the most doable wet looks are the slicked back hair, the loose ponytail and the elegant low bun. We're talking about the beautiful looks created by master hairstylists James Pecis, Jordan M, Odile Gilbert and Sarah Lucero.

The best thing about the wet look is that you can totally forget about your blow dryer. All you need is a good styling gel or hair mousse to create one of these simple and polished hairstyles and a gorgeous lipstick to rock the look.

2. Slept-in Messy Curls

Tightly scrunched, gelled curls have been quite a rage on the runway at the NYFW Spring/Summer 2016. Ideal for curly hair but also doable with slightly wavy hair, the slept-in messy curls have their own casual, feminine charm. We adored the look created by Sabrina Michals!

If you wish to go for slept-in messy curls, remember to prep your hair with a good texture mousse. It gets absorbed really quickly (rather than appearing as a coat) and lends your tresses a second-day, lived-in look.

3. Versatile Braids

When you're dealing with braids, creativity certainly knows no bounds. Like every season, we got to see lots of braided hairstyles at NYFW Spring/Summer 2016, but our absolute favorites were the 'dos created by Edward Lampley, James Pecis and Eugene Souleiman.

If you wish to give your traditional braid a quirky twist, baby braids, French braids and chunky braids are the looks to try!
