Whatever the season, long, textured hairstyles are always gorgeous (see Blake Lively for more details). Recently, L'Oréal Paris spokesperson Doutzen Kroes was spotted with two beautiful tousled hairstyles at the Cannes Film Festival: some cute half-up waves and a windswept bun updo. The question is, which textured hairstyle did she wear best?
Half-up wavy hair
Summery, beachy waves work really well with half-up hairstyles, and Doutzen Kroes' cute twists are an especially pretty look. The tousled texture was both sultry and romantic, and the loose ends had a ton of full-bodied movement.
Styling tip
Recreate Doutzen's waves by applying Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Tousle Waves Spray to damp hair, then curling the lengths with a 1" iron. When you're done, re-spray your hair and scrunch the waves to break it all up a bit.
Windswept bun
Doutzen's bun was light and airy thanks to some added volume on top of her head, but wasn't exactly messy. It had a whipped, windswept finish that created a soft silhouette and was the perfect teammate for the high neckline of her dress.
Styling tip
To add height to your hair, spritz your roots with Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT High Lift Creation Spray, then gently backcomb it a little.
