- Blow dryer
- Clips
- Tousle waves spray

Over the last few seasons, there's been a major shift toward minimalism when it comes to hair and beauty. While makeup looks are putting an emphasis on flawless complexions and nude lipstick, hairstyles are morphing from not-a-hair-out-of-place to just-rolled-out-of-bed. Relaxed, tousled styles are very on-trend at the moment and we've been spotting them everywhere from the sidewalk to the red carpet.
Now the question begs: is there a way to style your hair so that it looks perfectly un-styled? Yes! Follow our tutorial to achieve natural waves...
Undressed texture
Step one
After towel-drying your hair with a t-shirt to avoid frizz, then brush it through to remove any knots or tangles. Twist randomly-sized sections of hair and spray with Tousle Waves Spray all the way down to the ends.
Step two
Section your hair into 3 or 4 large sections of hair, then twist them outward until they roll down unto a spiral shape close to the scalp. Use a hair clip or bobby pins to secure them in place.
Step three
Blow dry hair to fix the waves in place.
Step four
Once the hair is completely dry, loosen the buns and gently comb through the hair with your fingers.
Step five
Apply more Tousle Waves Spray to the ends of your hair to complete the look.
Styling options
Wondering what to do with your wavy hair now that you've got it? Leaving it loose is a great everyday option. However, if you've got a formal event to attend, why not try a tousled updo or romantic fishtail braid? Happy styling!
