Side-swept hair is a great hairstyle for any and every length long enough to part. It's a 'do that looks especially good on shorter cuts, creating a faux half-hawk look for those of you who don't want shave half of your head for real. It's also a great way to change the way your hair frames your face, showcasing your "best side." If you would like to try a side-swept style in your own locks, just follow the tutorial below...
Step one
You can wear this style with any hair texture you want so the first thing you need to do is decide which one to go for. To get perfectly undone waves, blow-dry your hair in large twisted sections after applying Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Tousle Waves Spray. If sleek minimalism is more your thing, apply Advanced Hairstyle SLEEK IT Frizz Vanisher Cream and blow-dry with a paddle brush. It's totally up to you!
Step two
Part your hair on your favorite side using a tail comb for accuracy.
Step three
On the side with less hair, take a section of hair from just above your ear and split it in three. French braid this section all the way down to the nape of your neck, adding more hair each time you pass one piece from the outside to the center of the braid. Secure with bobby pins at the back, allowing the loose hair on the other side to camouflage them. To speed things up, you can just smooth the smaller side down with some Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Hyper Fix Putty instead of braiding.
Step four
Spray your whole style liberally with Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray and you're all set!
