If you're in need of an elegant yet understated hairstyle, a low side bun might just be the perfect solution. It's a laid back look that is styled enough to pass muster with your boss and the unspoken style rules of certain social occasions without coming off as uptight or overdone. As such, this 'do is ideal for a job interview, a fancy dinner, a wedding or even just to dress up a casual weekend look.
With a subtly tousled finish, it's also right on trend, not to mention really easy to achieve. Find out how to master the look by watching the video tutorial above.
So, what are you waiting for?
Step one
Part your hair along one side using a tail comb for accuracy. Go for whichever one looks and feels best to you, there are no rules!
Step two
Spray your hair all over with L'Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Tousle Waves Spray. Make sure you get even coverage as the spray doubles up as a heat protectant.
Step three
Blow-dry your hair in sections, twisting each one between your fingers until it's totally dry.
Step four
Pull your hair into a low ponytail on the opposite side to where your part is. Secure with a hair tie but don't pull the tie too tightly when you do this.
Step five
Twist the hair then form a loose bun and pin to secure it. Spray your new style all over with finishing spray to add shine and give you extra hold.
That's it, say hello to your new elegant low bun!
