Reverse French braided updo tutorial
From the article : Reverse French braided updo tutorial
Braided updos often seem like the kind of thing other people have, like swimming pools or place mats, making them something of a pretty pipe dream for a lot of us. But it doesn't have to be this way. In fact, you can master a complicated braided look in minutes with a bit of practice (and plenty of bobby pins)!
This fancy pants reverse French braided style looks like it's just about impossible for anyone without a catwalk stylist on hand, especially with the glamorous pompadour and rolled chignon thingy at the top, but it isn't, promise.
What you need:

Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray
Step one: Before you start, section off some hair at the front to create your pomp with later on.
Step two: Flip your head upside down and brush your hair through to remove any knots and tangles that may be lurking. Keep your head upside down then, starting at the nape of your neck, French-braid the hair all the way up (or down?) to the crown of your head. Secure with a hair tie once you get there.
(If you're stumped by French braids, fear not because a little practice goes a long way and we have an easy-to-follow guide you can use!)
Step three: Spray the lengths of the resulting pony, and the hair you sectioned off earlier, with High Lift Creation Spray.
Step four: Tease the pony a little with a fine-tooth comb to build extra volume then roll the pony forwards and secure with bobby pins. To disguise the hair elastic, pull the back of the roll gently over it and pin.
Step five: Hold the section of hair at the front straight up and backcomb it from behind. Smooth it back over and pin slightly to one side.
Step six: Mist all over with Bold Control Hairspray and you're good to go!
If this hairstyle has whet your appetite for bolder, more complicated braided updos, you might be ready to level up with a triple French braided look. It'll make more sense when you see it...
