The Venice Film Festival is in full swing and we've been on the lookout for the best chignons on the red carpet. L'Oreal Paris spokesperson Bianca Balti recently stole the show with a sophisticated updo that we have been dying to steal since we first laid eyes on it!
The Italian model and actress is no stranger to posing for the cameras but this is definitely one of her best looks yet! It also happens to be a style that us lowly non-red carpet walkers can steal for a party, a job interview or anytime we want to feel a bit fancier than usual.
To find out how to replicate this updo on your own locks, simply follow the tutorial below.
Get the look
Spray damp hair with L'Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT Blow Out HeatSpray evenly throughout and dry using a paddle brush. Once the hair is about 85% dry, flip your head upside down and blast the roots for extra lift.
Brush your hair through then spray with Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT High Lift Creation Spray. Use a fine-tooth comb to tease the hair on top and at the crown to build volume, then gently smooth all of your hair back off your face.
Gather all of the hair back the twist it, pulling upward as you go. When you get to the crown of our head, secure the twist with as many pins as you need then roll and tuck the ends into the top.
Top tip - If you want to create a more romantic look, tease a few wispy strands loose to frame your face and soften the overall silhouette. Just be careful not to pull too much hair out as this could undo your whole style.
To finish, mist liberally with Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray to add shine and give you up to 24 hours of great hold. After all, you need a hairstyle that can party as long as you can, right?
What do you think? How will you rock your new glamorous red carpet worthy hairstyle?
