Keep your long hair loose and out of your eyes with both of these striking hairstyles. But which one would you pick if you had to choose between them?
Flattering for almost every face shape, this look-at-me style gives you instant power. It's also a great option if you want to show off your long hair, but need it to stay off your face.
How to: Take the top section of hair and separate from the lower part. Backcomb the roots at the very top with a boar-bristle brush, and smooth down the sides with a comb (you could apply a wet look gel here if you wanted). Brush the hair up and over your head, pin securely, and use your comb to smooth down any flyaways. Use hairspray to add hold and shine.
The Classic Half-Up
Chic and feminine, the half-up hairstyle is a go-to look for many a girl. Twisted, braided or just tied back simply, the side sections draw attention to your eyes.
How to: Give you hair a good brush, create a center part, then separate two sections of hair either side of your face of around 5cm width. The most popular way of styling the sections is by lightly twisting each one around itself, then pulling both back around the head and tying together with an elastic. Simple!
