The 2015 Awards Season has been all about Julianne Moore, who ended it on a high by winning the Oscar for Best Actress at the 87th Academy Awards on February 22. The L'Oréal Paris spokesperson has won just about every Best Actress award there is for her stunning performance in Still Alice, and for each ceremony, she arrived with a hairstyle worthy of its own award!
The Oscars were no different. Julianne wore her medium-length locks in a glamorous yet underrated low chignon. The sleek finish really complimented her statuette, don't you think?
To find out how to recreate her look, just follow the tutorial below.
How to style it
Step 1
Starting with clean, towel dried hair, apply Advanced Hairstyle BLOW DRY IT Thermal Smoother Cream evenly throughout, then blow-dry your hair until it's only slightly damp.
Step 2
Divide your hair into three sections - top, middle and nape - and dry each one completely, using a round brush.
Step 3
Brush your hair through, then part it deep on your favorite side with a tail comb.
Step 4
Spray your hair all over with Advanced Hairstyle SLEEK IT Strand Smoother Serum Spray to add shine and tame any flyaways.
Step 5
Gather all of your hair at the nape of your neck and tie it into a low ponytail.
Step 6
To create the chignon, you can use a bun maker insert to get a really round finish, or you can simply twist and pin your hair into a bun.
Step 7
Mist your finished look with Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Fine Control Hairspray and you're all set!
