If you have a penchant for vintage hairstyles, we have just the updo tutorial for you. This retro beehive - with or without a headband - is just perfect for New Year's Eve and anyone with medium-length or long hair can recreate it!
To find out how to get the look, just follow the steps below.
How to style it
Step 1
After washing and towel-drying your hair, scrunch some Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT Volume Inject Mousse evenly throughout.
Step 2
Blow-dry your hair in sections using a paddle brush to keep it straight. Once it's almost dry, flip your head upside down and finish the blowout. This will add lift and give your hair plenty of volume right off the bat.
Step 3
Part your hair on one side then section off a couple of inches off at the front. Clip this section up while you work on the rest.
Step 4
Spray the roots on top of your head and at the crown with Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT High Lift Creation Spray then tease it from behind to build volume.
Step 5
Gently smooth the hair back over, then pin it into a bouffant at the back. Bump the hair forward as you pin to give your beehive more height.
Step 6
Gather the rest of your hair into a French twist and secure with bobby pins. Unclip the hair at the front and tuck it behind your ears.
Step 7
Complete your new beehive with a generous veil of Advanced Hairspray LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray to complete the look.
That's it!
