When the weather gets warmer, there's one trend we can always turn to, year in, year out. That trend is, of course, tousled waves. This season, it's all about teaming the look with a middle part for an understated, symmetrical style, whether you go for glossy mermaid waves or a messy bed head finish.
So, how will you rock middle parted waves this summer?
1/ Glossy curves
Starting with dry hair, apply Advanced Hairstyle SLEEK IT Iron Straight Heatspray evenly throughout, making sure you get even coverage for the best possible heat protection. Use a 1" curling iron to curl the hair from the tops of your ears, down to the ends. After curling each piece of hair, clip it up in a loop to cool so the strands set into long lasting waves.
Once all of your hair has been curled and cooled, unclip it all and shake your fingers throughout. To finish, apply plenty of Advanced Hairstyle SLEEK IT Strand Smoother Serum Spray to add shine and prevent frizz.
2/ Barely there waves
For larger, looser waves, use a 1 1/2" curling iron or your flat iron. Again, don't curl the hair all the way to the root, but stop roughly 2 or 3" inches from the scalp. After curling, mist with Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray to finish.
3/ Messy bed head waves
Spritz dry or damp hair with Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Tousle Waves Spray, then blow-dry it in twisted sections to create natural-looking waves. Once dried, use a 1" curling iron to add more waves as needed, shake your fingers through your mane, and finish with Bold Control Hairspray.
