Easy updos are the best, there's no denying that. This is especially true when it comes to choosing an updo that works with shorter or medium-length hair. One super easy way to sweep your lock up, up, up and away is with a quick wet-look 'do, as the product does all the work for you! As you can see in the photo opposite, this style is structured but still unkempt enough to appear stylishly relaxed. It strikes a nice balance and is a great way to wear wet-look hair in the real world - i.e. to work.
This style works really well with medium length hair and looks great if you have some bangs to muss at the front, too.

If you're in a rush and don't have time to wash your hair, this style is perfect because it hides any evidence of unwashed roots in plain, wet-effect sight!
Step one: Brush your hair through using a bristle brush to remove any knots and tangles.
Step two: Warm a small amount of Advanced Hairstyle TXT Deconstructing Gum by rubbing it between your fingers and then work it through your hair. Use a wide-tooth comb to make sure the gum is applied evenly.
Top tip - Apply more gum as needed and only use as much as necessary.
Step three: Massage the roots of your hair with your fingertips for extra lift.
Step four: Sweep your hair back with your hands and gather it all together at the nape of your neck. Pin it into place, either by creating a bun or twisting individual sections of hair and securing with bobby pins.
Step five: Use your fingers to muss the style, teasing a few strands/your bangs loose. Make sure everything feels secure and you're done.
That's all it takes to get a short or medium-length updo that is right on-trend and can be worn anywhere. Happy styling!
