For those of you looking for ways to make your hair appear thicker, a textured, somewhat voluminous side part could be the just hairstyle you need. The trick is to style the hair you have so that it takes up more space and thus appears fuller.
To find out how to do just that, simply follow the tutorial below.
How to stye it
FYI - this tutorial works best on a medium-length haircut with little extra length on top and tapered sides.
Step 1
Start creating volume right off the bat by washing your hair with a volume enhancing shampoo and conditioner. This will help to increase the amount of body before you're even out of the shower!
Step 2
If you have especially fine hair that tends to fall flatter than you would like, apply Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT Volume Inject Mousse before leaving it to dry naturally or rough-drying on a medium heat setting.
Step 3
Once dried, warm a small amount of Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Deconstructing Gum in your hands to emulsify it, then work it back through your hair. Add more as needed, but take care not to over-apply.
Step 4
Part your hair on your favorite side. Then, lift the hair at the front with a comb and set it with your blowdryer to add height while slowly sweeping it back.
Step 5
Lightly scrunch and tousle the hair wherever you feel it necessary to create a textured, ruffled finish.
