Voluminous, bouffant hairstyles have been trending since the 1960s and right now, they're more popular than ever. This half-up style is a great way to wear the look and is a great option for a night out, especially if you have medium-length hair.
To replicate it on your own hair, just follow the tutorial below.
Get the look
Step 1
Starting with damp hair, apply L'Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle Sleek IT Frizz Vanisher Cream evenly throughout.
Step 2
Blow-dry your hair using a paddle brush to straighten each section of hair. To boost volume all over, flip your head upside down when the hair is almost dry and blast your roots.
Step 3
Once dried, brush your hair through to smooth it, then section off the top layers.
Step 4
Spray the top layers with Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT High Lift Creation Spray, then tease from behind with a fine-tooth comb.
Step 5
Keep teasing until you're happy with the amount of extra height, then gently smooth the hair back and pin below the crown of your head.
Step 6
Use a large barrel curling iron to make some loose waves through the lengths of your hair to add a little movement. When you're done, gently brush them through and arrange the hair with your hands so the waves appear natural and understated.
Step 7
To make sure your new bouffant style lasts all night long, mist liberally with Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray to complete the look.
That's it!
