Low ponytails can be gorgeous go-to hairstyles, but they can become a little repetitive after a while. Due to its inherent simplicity, it can be difficult to come up with new and interesting ways to wear a low pony... unless you check in with us on a regular basis! Introducing the knotted low pony. This oh-so-simple style is super easy to achieve and you can dress it up or down for absolutely any occasion. Seriously, a little lipstick goes a long way. To find out how to make the look your own, all you need to do is follow the step-by-step tutorial below.
Get the look
Step one
Apply L'Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle SLEEK IT Frizz Vanisher Cream to damp, towel-dried hair then rough-dry completely. The cream will smooth the hair cuticle as it dries, encouraging a soft, shiny finish.
Step two
Brush your hair through then sweep it all back off your face. Mist it all over with Advanced Hairstyle SLEEK IT Strand-Smoother Serum Spray to add shine and instantly banish flyaways.
Step three
Tease a few wispy pieces of hair loose at the front then take your hair and tie everything else in a tight knot at the nape of your neck. Pin the knot underneath to make sure it stays in place. You may need two or three pins for this so make sure you have the kind that best matches your hair colour.
Step four
Mist your new style liberally with Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray for added shine and up to 24 hours of great hold. That's it!
What do you think? Will you be trying a low knotted pony of your own?
