London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016 is in full swing and we're delighted to bring you back-to-back updates on some of the best runway hairstyles spotted this season. If you're looking for some on-trend inspiration, here are 5 runway hairstyles to steal:

1. Sleek Hair
This season is all about sleek hair. We saw some gorgeous luminous loose hair at New York Fashion Week and we are getting to see an array of sleek hairstyles on the runways in London too.
Don't we all want to sport ultra-shiny hair with lived-in movement and a natural post-vacation glow? Well, an easy way to make your hair look glossy is by smoothing-in a small amount of high-shine hair serum through the length of your strands before blow-drying or flat ironing your tresses.

2. Low Ponytails
From sleek ponies to textured 'dos, there are plenty of low ponytail inspirations to take away from London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016.
We loved the low textured ponytails sported by models at the Temperley show. The ponytails were well secured, with plenty of volume and looked perfect to wear to work or for a night-out on the town. We also liked the romantic appeal of the low, loose ponytails created for Bora Aksu's Spring/Summer 2016 collection. While the sleek hairdos had a vintage feel, interesting side partings gave them a contemporary flair.

3. Vintage Hairdos
If you are looking for vintage hairstyle inspiration from London Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016, check out L'Oréal Professionnel UK's styling ambassador, Anthony Turner's creations for some really cool ideas.
Anthony presented a mash-up of retro hairstyles inspired by the '60s, '70s and '80s for the TOPSHOP Unique show this season. We saw plenty of voluminous curls, crimped hair, side-swept hairstyles, sharp middle-parts, sculpted quiffs and pomp hairdos as well as free-flowing bohemian waves.

4. Grunge Hairstyles
Grunge hairstyles have made a comeback on London's runways this season. Teamed with ''out all night'' party makeup, as seen at the Marc Jacob Spring 2016 show, these hairstyles look bold, confident and unapologetic.
Seems like haphazard middle parts, disheveled hairdos and understated waves are the grunge hairstyles to steal! Try out tousled ponytails, side-swept bobs with teased bangs or lived-in waves to stay on-trend.

5. Wet Look Hairstyles
We saw some really trendy wet look hairstyles at Georgian fashion designer David Koma's Spring 2016 show and loved them all! If you too wish to create a wet look party hairstyle, remember to smooth-in a lavish amount of high-shine hair gel to perfect the sleek look. However, if you're not too comfortable with the overall weight of a slick, wet look hairstyle, you can replace the strong hold hair gel with a good quality strand-smoother serum to achieve low-shine and a lighter, natural-looking finish.
