What could be a better way to enjoy a party or a night out on the town than with a fabulous loose hairstyle that makes you look effortlessly chic? Both tousled waves and grunge hair fit the bill perfectly and allow you to truly let your hair down and have a great time!
Tousled Waves
Tousled waves have been around for a while now and for all the good reasons. These sultry, beach-worthy waves instantly lend a Baywatch vibe to your mane and amp up your glam quotient.
To create tousled waves at home, spritz your damp (about 70% dry) tresses generously with tousle waves hairspray, make 3-4 loose braids and let the plaits set for a while (approximately 10-15 minutes). The product will help to define the texture of the waves. After the said time, spritz some heat protectant hairspray on the braids and run a blow-dryer on them. Once they're almost dry, untie them to reveal gorgeousloose waves throughout your mane. Break them up gently with your fingers and finish off with a light mist of hairspray.
Grunge Hair
Since messy hairstyles are all the rage these days, you can conveniently skip a salon session and sport an on-trend grunge hairstyle to a party. Ideal for women with straight or wavy tresses, grunge hairstyles have a rocker-chic vibe about them and make for a perfect in-between washes styling option, if you're on second, third or even fourth day hair!
To lend your medium-length hair an unkempt, lived-in texture, lightly damp your hair and work in a tiny amount of deconstructing gum through it, followed by a light spritz of heat protectant hairspray. Gently scrunch your hair while blow-drying it to create a perfect out-of-bed texture. Once your hair is dry, run your fingers through the strands to break up clamped sections (if any, since we're working with unwashed hair) and finish off with a gentle mist of fine hold hairspray to set the look for longer wear.
