Where you part your hair is a surprisingly integral part of your hairstyle. It is to your mane what your eyebrows are to your face: the unassuming detail that actually structures the whole thing. What's really interesting about the location of your part, however, is that changing it can alter your entire look with little more than a tail comb. For us, the part du jour is this very pretty off-center look.
Not quite front and center
Middle parts can be kind of intimidating. They leave your face exposed in a way that just doesn't happen with other parts, leaving you less than nowhere to hide. If this isn't something you want to dive head first into, edging your way closer to the middle with an off-center part could be the perfect solution while you get used to the idea.
You'll get to keep the sweeping beauty of a side part while you enjoy the novelty factor of a somewhat daring new look!

Parting your hair this way couldn't be simpler. All you need to do is use a tail comb to trace the line of your part roughly half an inch from the center, then comb your hair through on either side to fix it. To fnish, spray your hair with a brushable, flexible hold hairspray such as L'Oréal Paris Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Fine Control Hairspray. This will give your style lasting hold and great frizz control throughout the day.
What do you think? Will you try an off-center part?
