  • Karlie Kloss's beachy waves
Beachy, tousled waves are a summer beauty staple, but we think they're perennial. Like Karlie Kloss, you can balance a formal look with all that texture, or use it to brighten up a rainy day!
  • Zoe Saldana's summery waves
This hairstyle is polished, pretty and totally pulled together, but the smooth waves keep it understated. Team it with florals for a cute warm weather look.
  • Tucked back waves
For a polished 'do, try some chic, tucked back waves. It's a high fashion look but the movement and overall simplicity of this style keep it wearable.

Long, flowing waves are basically as fairytale as it gets. While long hair does take a certain level of commitment when it comes to haircare, we'd say these results are more than worth it!
  • Blake Lively's mermaid waves
Any list of beautiiful wavy hairstyles wouldn't be complete without an appearance from Blake Lively. She just gets it right. Every. Single. Time.
  • Half-up waves

Styling tips

1/ Wavy hair that lasts

To make sure your waves last all day long (and beyond) make sure you clip each piece of hair up to cool when it comes off the curling iron. How well your waves turn out all depends on the shape it's in when heated and cooled, so clipping them up in a loop after curling will give you better, longer lasting wave!

2/ No frizz, no problem

Even the most beautiful waves don't look great after a frizz attack, so make sure you prevent any fuzz with a decent finishing spray. It'll seal your hair against the elements, creating a protective barrier between your hair and whatever frizz-inducing humidity may be lurking in the air.

3/ Go easy on the heat

The best thing about wavy hair is that you can take a laid back approach to styling that really is effortless. So, instead of using hot tools, try some heat free-techniques like braiding damp tresses or pinning them back into a loose bun instead.
