If you want bangs but don't actually want to rush into getting your hair cut, you can totally fake it with a carefully styled set of faux bangs! It's basically just an optical illusion, and can't be used to cover your entire forehead, but it's a really good way to find out whether bangs suit you or not, and also to play around with the proportions of your face.
Below, you'll find a simple tutorial to help you get the look.
What you need:
Advanced Hairstyle CURVE IT Elastic Curl Mousse
Blow-dryer with diffuser
Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Deconstructing Putty
Step one: To get loosely tousled, slightly wavy locks, apply Elastic Curl Mousse before blow drying with a diffuser. Scrunch the hair with your hands as you go.
Step two: With a tail comb, define a side part, and then separate a section of hair at the front, combing it forwards over you face.
Step three: Warm a little Deconstructing Putty in your hands – place a small amount on your fingertips and then rub your hands together – and lightly run your fingers through your hair, scrunching slightly, to create piecey, almost beach-like waves.
Step four: Taking the section at the front, apply more paste down the hair using the palms of your hands then pull the ends round to your right ear. Use a bobby pin to secure the hair. The gum won't dry hard, giving you the flexibility to shape your faux bangs into the position you like best.
