Get the Look
Step One
Spritz some high-lift creation hairspray on your roots to give your hair an instant boost.
Step Two
Create a side part with 1-2 inches of your face-framing hair and section off your strands.
Step Three
Using your fine toothed comb, back brush your hair gently at the crown to create a small bouffant. This teasing technique will help you build volume. Spritz some bold control hairspray to set the teased hair section and tuck in a couple of bobby pins to prevent the bouffant from budging.
Step Four
Using the back of your comb, smooth out your front hair over the bouffant to make it look even. Spritz some more hairspray to set this section.
Step Five
Gather all your loose hair at the nape of your neck and tie it in a low ponytail using a hair elastic.
Step Six
Mist your ponytail with a good quality heat protectant hairspray to shield the strands from the damages of heat styling.
Step Seven
Roll the end of your ponytail on a medium-barreled curling iron, wait for a couple of seconds and let the curled hair section slide off the iron.
Step Eight
Let your curled pony cool down and finish with a generous spritz of hairspray to set your vintage hairstyle for long wear!
