Former desperate housewife Eva Longoria has one stellar resume to which she recently added the Norma Zarky Humanitarian Award. This accolade is only given to those who have shown "enlightened support for the advancement of equal opportunity for all and devotion to the improvement of the human condition" as part of the Women In Film Awards each year. If that wasn't impressive enough, the L'Oréal Paris spokesperson is also an actress, graduate, producer, director and philanthropist.
Busy as all of those things keep her, Eva still finds the time to pull off one glamorous hairstyle after another. Styled but not overly serious, her tousled waves looked totally gorgeous on the red carpet before the ceremony on June 11.
Two ways to get the look
Loose, tousled waves are everywhere at the moment and Eva makes a great case for trying them out yourself, if you haven't already. They look completely effortless and the good news is that they actually are when it comes to styling. There are two basic ways tp achieve perfect waves: with heat or without.
With: Moisten dry hair then apply Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Tousle Waves Spray evenly throughout. Next, blow-dry your hair in large twisted chunks then finger-comb to break them into waves. Once dried, apply a small amount of Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Deconstructing Gum to the ends and scrunch to finish.
Without: If you have a little more time, apply Tousle Waves Spray then pin your hair up in two loose buns on either side of your head and let them dry naturally. FYI - If you look like Princess Leia, you're doing it right. Once the hair is dry, apply Deconstructing Gum as above and you're all set!
If your hair is prone to losing its shape, mist your finished style with plenty of Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray.
What do you think? Will you be stealing Eva's style?
