Getting a short haircut is not something you should do without careful consideration. After all, if you go through with it, it will change your entire look! So, it's a good idea to fake a shorter style before you commit once and for all, just to see how it looks and to help you decide if you're really, really sure. A faux short 'do is also the perfect style for anyone who wants to go short... but only for a day.
Another bonus with this hairstyle is the minimal amount of effort required to recreate it. Seriously, you don't even have to wash your hair!
What you need:
Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Deconstructing Gum
Step one: Comb your hair through to remove any knots or tangles before you start then part it on your favorite side – go for wherever feels most comfortable.
Step two: Warm some Deconstructing Gum in your hands then work it through your hair. Apply it from your part outwards, working down the lengths.
Step three: Keep adding more gum until you have a good amount of hold.
Step four: Comb the hair through again to smooth it out and keep the part well-defined. The sharp line will become the main focus of the style.
Step five: If you have medium hair or longer, sweep it all back then pin into a French twist, or create a simple chignon by pinning the hair at the nape of your neck in twisted sections.
