Ballerina buns are a great option when a simple updo is all you need, but they can be a little harsh on your features as all the hair is scraped right back, leaving you nowhere to hide. If that seems a little intense (read: scary), you could go for a looser, more romantic low bun with a softer silhouette and enough hair left around the front to frame your face instead.
Just like a tight ballerina bun, this hairstyle is a piece of cake when it comes to actually styling it, and it can be done in mere minutes!

Step one: Starting with dray hair (ideally straight-ish or slightly wavy), brush it all through to remove any knots or tangles.
Step two: Mist the hair all over with Strand-Smoother Serum Spray for an instantly sleek texture. Use a tail comb to define your part on whichever side you prefer.
Step three: Gather your hair loosely back into a low pony at the nape of your neck and secure with a hair elastic. Make sure the front sections of hair are loosely covering your ears.
Step four: After tying it up, split the pony to push the elastic tighter into place. This will help to add a little extra volume at the back if you don't have time to tease it.
Step five: Wrap the pony around into a bun and pin into place. If you want an ultra-romantic look, tease a few strands loose to frame your face and give a slightly unkempt feel.
Step six: Mist with Bold Control Hairspray and you're good to go.
