The dry-hair blowout is one of those things that, once mastered, become ultra-useful, especially when it comes to revitalizing your style between washes! It's just a good thing to have in your styling repertoire for days when you don't want to wear an updo, but you don't want something that looks too 'undone' either.
The good news is that in just a few easy steps, you can get the technique down to a T! Get the look with the tutorial below...
What you need:
Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT Blow Out HeatSpray
Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray
Step one: Begin by prepping your hair with Blow Out HeatSpray. Spray it evenly throughout the hair before you so much as look at your dryer. This step is really important because the spray acts as a heat protectant but also encourages a smooth, voluminous finish.
Step two: Begin drying the hair at the back, working in sections from the bottom up. Lift the roots by placing a round brush underneath them then gliding it through to the ends. Wrap the hair all the way around the brush and flash-dry with cool air once you're done. Pin each section up in a loop as you move onto the next.
Step three: Once all of the hair has been secured, let it cool then remove the pins. Brush each section through with a bristle brush. At this point, you can increase the volume of your blowout by back-coming the hair at the root.
Step four: Complete your blowout with a mist of Bold Control Hairspray for long-lasting hold.
That's it. Say hello to your gorgeous new hairstyle!
