Blown away...

Windswept hair is a current beauty trend that won't be going anywhere anytime soon, so now is the perfect time to take it for a test drive on your own locks if you haven't already. This half-up style is a great style to start with because it's really easy to achieve, and it's quite versatile in terms of where you can wear it and what with.

You could even put a fresh springtime spin on it with some cute floral accessories!

What you need:

Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT Volume Inject Mousse
Blow-dryer
Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT High Lift Creation Spray
Fine-tooth comb
Bobby pins

Step one: After washing and conditioning your hair, scrunch some Volume Inject Mousse through from roots to ends then rough blow-dry. Once the hair is about 90% dry, flip your head upside down and blast until totally dry. This sounds ridiculous but it really helps to lift the hair at the roots, giving you more volume from the get go.

Step two: Spray the roots on top and a little on each side with High Lift Creation Spray then tease with a fine-tooth comb. You don't have to do a lot of teasing, just enough to build some extra height.

Step three: Use your hands to lightly smooth the hair back then pin into a half-up style at the back of your head. Before you pin, gently bump the hair forwards for more volume.

Step four: Gently muss the 'up' half of your hair with your fingertips and you're done!
