Wearing your hair half-up is a great way to show off movement, conceal dirty roots, and add some extra detail to your regular hairstyle, and the two looks above do all of that perfectly! The question is, would you prefer to rock a braided headband or an understated center part?
Braided headband
A braided headband uses your own hair as an accessory to create a cute, laid back hairstyle. There are no complicated styling techniques to master, all you need to do is braid two pieces of hair on each side of your face and wrap them over the top of your head and pin them in place to form the headband.
Styling tip
Before braiding, spritz your roots with Advanced Hairstyle BLOW DRY IT Longwear Spray. The dry shampoo formula will absorb excess oil and freshen your hair.
Center part
If you believe that less really is more, a middle parted half-up 'do might be perfect for you. It's even easier to achieve than a braided headband, and it only takes a few minutes. To get the look, part your hair in the middle, gather the hair on either side of your face at the back and secure with bobby pins. It's that simple!
Styling tip
To prevent frizz, mist your finished style with Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray.
