L'Oréal Paris spokesmodel Eva Longoria has some of the best hair in Hollywood and at the recent unite4:humanity event, the actress and philanthropist rocked up with one of the most covetable wet-look hairstyles ever. Swept back in a slick, controlled down 'do, Eva's latest red carpet hairstyle turned out to be something anyone of us here in the real world could totally wear.
Just like her fellow L'Oréal Paris spokesmodel Doutzen Kroes, Eva seems to have mastered the "no shock" wet-look hairstyle. The smooth, brushed back look appeared sleek and totally under control, without being too shiny.
The biggest problem with the hegemonic wet-look trend is that a lot of people are putt off by the super slick (read: often slimy) wet effect. Hopefully, Eva's low-shine hairstyle will help to change a few minds about all that...
If you're contemplating a wet-look hairstyle in the not-too-distant future, make like everybody's favorite Desperate Housewife and try a subtle approach!

All you need to create a wet-look style like Eva's is a jar of Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Deconstructing Gum and a comb. If your hair is particularly curly, you may want to run a flat iron through it before you begin.
Step one: Comb or brush your hair through to remove any tangles or kinks.
Step two: Take a small amount of the Deconstructing Gum and place it on your fingertips. Then, rub your hands together to emulsify the gum – this will make it super easy to work with.
Step three: In sweeping backward motions, run the gum from the roots all the way down the lengths of your hair. Apply more gum as you go and stop once the hair has a low-shine finish but doesn't look overloaded.
Step four: Run a comb all the way through your hair for a super controlled finish.
Happy styling!
