If you have long hair and need a quick hairstyle that you can wear anywhere and with anything, we suggest this simple headband braid. It's easy to style and it looks great with all hair types.
To find out how to recreate it on your own locks, just follow the tutorial below.
How to style it
Step 1
Starting with dry hair, use a boar bristle brush to smooth and detangle your locks, then part them in the middle with a tail comb.
Step 2
Place all of your hair behind your shoulders so it's hanging down your back.
Step 3
Section off a piece of hair from behind your right ear that's between one and two inches big. Braid it all the way to the ends and secure with a small hair tie.
Step 4
Repeat the previous step on the lefthand side.
Step 5
Keep all of the loose hair behind your shoulders while you pull the braids up and over the top of your head to form the headband. Secure it with as many bobby pins as it takes for the braids to feel secure, then tuck the ends out of sight.
Step 6
You can leave the rest of your hair as it is, curl it, or even pin it into an updo. Whatever you decide, complete your finished hairstyle with a mist of Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray for long-lasting hold, and to keep frizz at bay.
That's it!
