Just when it seems like Julianne Moore's hair couldn't get more awesome, she rocks up to an evening in her honor at the Museum of the Moving Image in New York City with a low-key yet glamorous topknot hairstyle.
To recreate her simple updo, just follow the tutorial below.
How to style it
Step 1
If you're starting with day two hair, spritz your roots with Advanced Hairstyle BLOW DRY IT Blow Out Longwear Spray to absorb excess oil, then brush your hair through.
If you have washed and towel dried your hair prior to starting this tutorial, apply Advanced Hairstyle BLOW DRY IT Quick Dry Primer Spray. Then blow-dry your hair in sections while using a paddle brush to keep it straight.
Step 2
Next, use a flat iron to smooth out any kinks, then sweep all of your hair up into a high ponytail. Use a brush to eliminate any bumps, then secure the pony with a hair elastic.
Step 3
Twist the pony and wind it into a bun shape, then secure it on top of your head with bobby pins. Three or four pins should be enough, but it all depends on how long and/or thick your hair is.
Step 4
Spray some Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray into the palm of your hand and firmly smooth it over the top and sides of your head to tack down any flyaways. Then, mist your style all over to complete the look.
That's it!
