Doutzen Kroes recently announced she was pregnant with her second child and, in honour of this happy news, we thought we'd take a look back at two of our favorite styles from the L'Oréal Paris spokesmodel. Of course, one of them is her trademark tousled waves while the other is more of a wild card: the super-wearable wet-look style she wore to a gala for the New York Ballet.

When pregnant with her first child, Doutzen owned her look with a great wardrobe, gorgeous wedding dress by Spanish designer Pronovias, and that flowing, golden mane of hers. This time around, there can be no doubt about the fact Doutzen is going to nail her pregnancy beauty. In fact, we're not sure she's even capable of having a bad hair day...
The rest of us will just have to make do with some serious beauty inspiration from DK to help us through our own inevitable bad hair days.

Wet-look hair gets a bad wrap for being a little bit too on-trend to be wearable in the real world. Sure, it's a style that looks great on models and celebrities but Doutzen Kroes (yeah, she's both, but still) proves that this look can be worn in an understated way. The low-shine "wet" effect creates a slight grunge vibe which Doutzen then countered with a bold red lip. The combination was just the right amount of sleek chic and didn't overwhelm her look.
Maybe it's time to embrace this trend that Fashion Weeks everywhere have been trying to turn into an everyday thing for years now. And hey, sweeping your hair back in a wet-look style has to be the ultimate bad hair day solution!

The verdict?
We just can't get enough of Doutzen's natural-looking, tousled waves, but there's something very appealing about her wet-look style. Basically, it's impossible to choose between them!
