Long, messy braid
Long, messy braid

You can never have enough braided hairstyles in your arsenal, especially if you have long hair, and we have a gorgeous messy look for you to try! Perfect for keeping your hair under control without compromising on style, this on-trend textured braid is a pretty yet practical 'do that can be worn everywhere.

To find out how to get the look, just follow the tutorial below.

How to style it

Step 1
Starting with damp hair, apply Advanced Hairstyle BLOW DRY IT Quick Dry Primer Spray throughout and rough dry your hair until it's only slightly damp.

Step 2
Spritz Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT Blow Out Heatspray all over, then continue the blowout. Use a round brush to loosely curl the hair in sections to add body and movement to your mane.

Step 3
Once dried, brush the hair off your face and loosely French braid it from halfway up the back of your head down to the nape of your neck. Secure the hair with a tie.

Step 4
Mist the loose lengths of your hair with Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT High Lift Creation Spray and muss with your hands to add volume.

Step 5
Gently take off the hair tie and continue braiding all the way to the ends. Once you've tied the braid, gently pull the braid apart at the sides to loosen it.

Step 6
Carefully pull a few pieces of hair loose at the front to frame your face and soften the overall look, then finish with Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray.
