Half-up hairstyles are really versatile, and we're always looking for new ways to wear them. After stumbling across this asymmetrical braided look, we decided we absolutely had to try it and we suggest you join us!
1/ How to style it
As with any braided hairstyle, you need to remove any knots with a brush or comb before styling as they can be really frustrating once you've begun.
This style works really well with loose, tousled waves. To master the texture, spray Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Tousle Waves Spray throughout, then blow-dry your hair in large twisted sections.
Section off a chunk of hair on one side. On the other side, take a slightly smaller piece of hair and twist it inward, but keep the hair slack as you hold it. Bring the smaller piece of hair over to the larger one. While keeping the smaller piece separate, divide the bigger one into two halves.
Braid the three pieces together until you reach the ends, then secure the braid with a small hair elastic. If you're feeling particularly dextrous, you could try a fishtail braid instead.
Tease a few small pieces of hair loose in front to frame your face and soften the look. To loosen the braid, gently pull it apart.
Complete the look with a generous mist of Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Fine Control Hairspray and you're all set!
