French braided bangs can seem a little intimidating because the finished style is so intricate. The good news is the braiding technique is actually a lot simpler than you might think! To help you master the look once and for all, we've laid out a simple step-by-step tutorial below.
How to style it
Starting with dry hair, spray the roots with Advanced Hairstyle BLOW DRY IT Longwear Spray and brush your hair through. This will absorb any excess oil and give your strands extra grip when braiding.
Part your hair deep on your favorite side. For extra accuracy, use a tail comb to help trace the line.
Section off the first inch or so of your bangs and split it into three smaller sections.
As with a normal braid, move the back section over the middle section and into the center of the braid. Then, move the front section over the middle and into the center.
The second or third time you pass the sections of hair over each other, gently pull a small piece of loose hair with the back section as you move it into the center. Next, gather a small piece of hair from the front - near your hairline - as you pass the front piece into the center.
Keep repeating Step 5 until all of your bangs have been braided. At this point, you can keep going until you get to your ear, braid it all the way to the ends, weave it into a side braid or secure the braid where it is.
Complete the look with a veil of Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray to keep flyaways at bay and give your new braided 'do long-lasting hold.
