More often than not, time is of the essence when styling your hair and, just because you have a short cut, you can't necessarily get away with a 100% natural look. To help you out, we've put together a list of five different hairstyles that are super easy to achieve and all of them can be done in the time it takes to drink a cup of coffee in the monring.

Whether you need to tame your locks for work or you want to just switch up your regular hairstyle, it never hurts to have some quick and easy looks up your sleeve!

The main aim is to polish up your hair's natural state a little bit by changing the texture, adding or reducing volume, banishing frizz and taking control of any unwanted flyaways. Doing all of that at once is actually a lot easier than it seems when you're equipped with the right products and you know how to use them. Bobby pins also come in handy, too...

Scroll through the styles below and, who knows, you might just find your new go-to look!

Deep side part

Where you part your hair has a big impact on your whole look. It totally changes the way your hair frames your face. A deep side part allows you to showcase the 'best' (read: your favorite) side of your face and suits most face shapes.

To style: Part your hair really far over on whichever side you want the comb or brush it all through. Warm a really small amount of Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Deconstructing Gum in your hands then smooth it over the side with less hair.

Ramp up the volume

For those of you who like to stand out from the crowd, a voluminous style is a great way to go. You can work in plenty of texture and get a look that's both sultry and a little bit rebellious. This style is also a lot of fun to wear and is a great way to boost fine or flat hair.

To style: Dampen your hair then quickly rough-dry it with your head flipped upside down for maximum root lift. Part your hair down the middle then spray with Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT High Lift Creation Spray. Gently tease wherever more volume is needed then arrange your hair with your hands. You can use bobby pins to help sculpt your style however you want it. Finish with a liberal application of Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray and you're good to go!

Faux half hawk

This is basically the same as a side part just with some extra detail thrown in. Don't worry, that doesn't make it much more complicated! This is also the perfect 'do for someone considering the real thing because it's as close as you're going to get to a real faux half hawk without actually shaving half of your hair off.

To style: Part your hair on one side then comb it all through. On the smaller side, tightly French braid the hair all the way back to the nape of your neck and pin. Alternatively, twist a few pieces of hair horizontally then pin them back one by one, making sure you use all of the hair on that side. On the bigger side, spray with High Lift Creation Spray and tease to add some extra volume. If you prefer, you could loosely curl the hair instead. Fix with Bold Control Hairspray and you're all set!

Messy pixie

This one is perhaps the easiest of the bunch, not to mention a great promotion for shorter crops in general. Messy yet controlled, this disheveled pixie is full of texture without being overwhelming. Not only that, it also helps to soften the overall silhouette and it can help to diminish a wide forehead, too.

To style: Warm a small amount of Deconstructing Gum in your hands then really go to town on your hair. Be careful not to apply to much as overloaded strands can look gunky and, well, kind of gross. Start by working it through the top and sides then go ahead and muss it like crazy. Use your fingers to twist and tousle individual sections of hair then shape with your hands to finish.

Curly updo

Last but not least is a curly hair updo. It's a really straightforward hairstyle that instantly gives your whole look a more pulled-together feel. It takes a little longer than the others but it'll only take you about 10-15 minutes in total with short, bob-length hair.

To style: After washing your hair, scrunch some Advanced Hairstyle CURVE IT Curl Taming Cream throughout after towel-drying. Blow-dry using the diffuser attachment and wind individual curls around your forefinger to add definition. Twist and pin large sections to the back of your head until all of your hair is up and you've created a chignon that looks way more complicated than it is. Tease a few curls loose at the front and spray liberally with Bold Control Hairspray to finish.
