L'Oréal Paris spokesperson Freida Pinto rocked the red carpet with a gorgeous 1920s inspired chignon. Paired with a glitzy dress, this was the ultimate in vintage beauty.
To style: Blow-dry your hair straight with Advanced Hairstyle SLEEK IT Frizz Vanisher Cream. Use a round brush to guide the hair. Once dried, use a curling iron to curl the lower two thirds of your hair. Brush it through to unify the wave then gather it all back into a low chignon. Pin it up in small sections and accessorize with a glitzy barrette. Finish with a generous mist of Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Bold Control Hairspray.
Eva Longoria also went for a tried and true classic, a low ponytail. Brushed back with plenty of volume, this hairstyle was an out and out classic, balanced with a fresh modern feel.
To style: Scrunch some Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT Volume Inject Mousse through damp hair and blow-dry. Use a round brush to create some loose waves down the lengths of your hair. Once dried, spray the roots on top with Advanced Hairstyle BOOST IT High Lift Creation Spray and gently tease. Smooth the hair back over and gather into a low pony. Camouflage the hair tie with a section of hair from the pony and fix with a mist of Bold Control Hairspray.
Zoe Saldana was a delight to behold with her pretty braided headband. It was really just a very glamorous take on what might be considered a 'normal girl' hairstyle for many. It was a truly lovely accompaniment to her floor-length gown.
To style: Use a curling iron on the lower two thirds of your hair then braid a small section of hair from behind each ear. Pull the braids up over the top of your head to create the 'headband' and tuck the ends underneath. Pin and fix with a mist of Bold Control Hairspray.
French model and actress Laetitia Casta dazzled with a gold feather bolero at the closing ceremony last year but her cute faux bob is also worth a mention.
To style: Faking a shorter haircut is a whole lot easier than it first appears. Simply part your hair to one side then gather your hair back into a very low pony. Pull the elastic down, an inch or so from the very ends, then roll the hair back up underneath until you reach the nape of your neck. Use your hands to adjust the faux ends then pin. Mist with Bold Control Hairspray to finish.
Never one to disappoint on the red carpet, Doutzen Kroes wowed the paparazzi with her sleek, straight, almost wet-look hairstyle. Dramatic, sexy, and the perfect showcase for her makeup, this look remains unforgettable.
To style: Flat iron your hair after applying Advanced Hairstyle SLEEK IT Iron Straight Heatspray. Part your hair to one side using a tail comb then smooth a very small amount of Advanced Hairstyle TXT IT Deconstructing Gum down through your hair to finish.
Will this year's festival be able to best these glamorous hairstyles? We'll just have to wait and see...
