Ponytails are a girl's best friends! High, low, sleek, messy, tousled, twisted, looped or curled – there are so many variations to try! You can wear a pony just about anywhere and match it with just about any outfit.
We saw a whole bunch of ponytails at Fashion Week this season and have rounded up three easy styles that you can adopt in your hairstyling routine and create in 3 minutes or less!

1. Messy ponytail – for when you choose breakfast over hair styling
Woke up with a bedhead and are already running late? Work in a small quantity of strand-smoother serum through your tresses and simply rake them up (or down!) with your fingers to make a ponytail. Secure with an elastic and you're ready to head out!
The good news is, messy ponytails are more popular than ever; so go ahead and try one out for a quick, minimalistic and on trend style!

2. Knotted ponytail – for when you want to spice up your low pony
A low pony may be your go-to hairstyle for all occasions, but let's face it, where's the fun in wearing your hair the same way all the time? Play up your regular hairstyle by making a knotted ponytail or even a bunny tail!
Making a knotted pony is quick and easy. Just divide your regular low ponytail into two sections – one chunkier than the other; wrap the smaller section around the elastic and tuck in a couple of bobby pins to secure the ends.
You can create a messy knotted ponytail or go for a sleeker version. For a more polished look, spritz some strand-smoother serum spray along the length of your strands, before tying them up in a pony.
3. Sleek, twisted pony – for when you want to look sharp, stylish and in control
Don't fancy messy hairstyles and rolled out of bed looks? No worries! Pull together a sleek, twisted ponytail as seen at the Public School Spring/Summer 2016 show.
Mist your hair with some strand-smoother serum spray and brush your tresses thoroughly to detangle knots. Gather your hair at the back of your head and make a ponytail. Divide the pony into two sections and intertwine the sections tightly like a rope. Secure the end with elastic and spritz some fine control hairspray to tame flyways and achieve a polished look.
If you don't want to wear a tight pony, you can also go for a relaxed version by entwining your hair sections loosely.
These interesting hairstyles will surely improve your ponytail game. Go ahead and try them out!
