There are days when you don't have the time to wash your hair and days when you don't want to wash your hair. No shampoo – no problem! Here are three hairstyles for in between washes that you can create on second or third day hair:

1. Mussed, Romantic Braid
The easiest way to deal with dirty hair and style it in between washes is to make a mussed, romantic braid. In fact, not shampooing your hair actually comes to your advantage here, because the messier your hair, the better your braid will look!
Spritz your hair with some tousle waves hairspray and scrunch it with your fingers to define texture and create pretty waves. Divide your hair into three sections, plait them loosely and secure the end with elastic. That's it! With your hair off your back, you're ready to face your day!

2. French Twist Ponytail
A French twist ponytail is easier to create than it looks and an apt hairstyle for in between washes. You can create this hairstyle with shoulder-length to medium hair of any texture.
To create this French-inspired hairstyle, gather all your hair at the nape of your neck and hold it with your fingers (don't tie it up just yet!), pull out a small section of hair from the bottom of the pony and twist it over at the base. Repeat this till you get a nice folded effect, just like in a French twist. Secure the fold with bobby pins and the base of the ponytail with hair elastic. Spritz some hairspray over your hairstyle ... et voilà – your trés chic French twist pony is ready!

3. Twisted Chignon
Since unwashed hair has better texture and hold than freshly shampooed tresses, you can easily twist your day two hair into a chignon. Spray some dry shampoo at the roots and gather all your hair at the nape of your neck; secure it into a ponytail with the help of hair elastic. Divide the pony into 3-4 hair sections of equal thickness; twist each section like a rope and wrap it around the base of the pony to create a chignon. Secure the ends with bobby pins, spritz some fine control hairspray and you're good to go!
