Just grab a scrunchy, secure all loose hair into a low ponytail and get going – sounds like you? This article is for you!
We know that a schedule that runs like clockwork leaves little time to pimp in front of the mirror. We also understand that many of you might actually not be able to figure out what to do with your hair, especially when time is of essence. But a little tip here and a small trick there can save you from compromising on style and actually look great and feel a lot better too!
Low ponytails do seem like an easy way out, but they don't necessarily have to be boring; with a little creativity, you can transform your last-moment hairstyle into a fabulous one!
Here are three interesting low ponytails that you should try right now:

1/ Tiered Low Ponytail
Haven't washed your hair? No problem! Just spritz some dry shampoo on the roots of your hair and brush it through using a wide-toothed comb. Sweep back and secure all your front and top hair at the back of your head in a half-up ponytail hairstyle using hair tie. Gather the rest of the loose hair at the nape of your neck, integrate the half-up pony into this section and secure it as a second ponytail. Et voilà – your tiered low ponytail is ready!

2/ Vintage-style Curly Ponytail
What should you do after you've tied your regular low ponytail? Lend it a '50s inspired vintage touch of course! Spritz the length of your pony with some heat protectant hairspray and twist it on a medium-barreled curling iron up to the mid shafts. Wait for a couple of seconds for the loose curl to set and let it slide off the iron. Secure your curly ponytail with some strong control hairspray. Conceal the hair tie by wrapping a tiny section of hair (from the pony) around it and securing the end with bobby pins. You can also accessorize your low, curly pony by tying a fancy ribbon around the hair tie.
Additional styling tip – for a more prominent retro feel, before tying the low pony and curling it, create a slight bouffant around the crown of your head by back brushing your hair in that section.

3/ Twisted Low Ponytail
Want a chic new hairstyle that is neither complicated nor time taking? Try out a minimalistic twisted low ponytail! Spritz some strand smoother serum spray all over your hair to make your strands soft, smooth and shiny. Section off about 1 inch of hair on either side of your head and clip both the sections away. Secure the rest of your hair into a low pony using hair tie. Let the sectioned-off hair pieces down. Take one section, twist it like a rope, sweep it back towards the ponytail, wrap it around the hair tie and secure the end under the pony using bobby pins. Repeat this step with the second section of hair. Spritz your twisted low ponytail with hairspray, smooth flyways using the back of your comb and you're good to go!
All these hairstyles work with medium-length to long hair and take between 5 and 10 minutes to perfect. Try them out – you'll never go for a regular low pony again!
