Do you have thin hair and are unable to try out a variety of interesting hairstyles because of limp locks? We feel your pain! This is why we have come up with a few simple, tried-and-tested tricks to make your hair look more voluminous. Interested to find out how to create maximum hair volume with minimum effort? Here are a few ways:
1. Change Your Hair Part
When you part your hair the same way over a long period of time, your tresses begin to look flat. Try a different hair part, preferably opposite your regular side, to create an illusion of volume. Spritz some high lift creation hairspray at the roots to give them an instant boost. A deep side part also helps to build height and makes your hair look thick and voluminous!
2. Back-Brush Your Hair
Use a large paddle brush to gently back-brush your hair and create volume. Pin up the uppermost layer of your hair and gently tease the layers underneath, working on one section at a time, so that the strands don't get entangled.
Once you're done, flip back the uppermost layer over the back-brushed section and smooth it out with the back of your hair brush. Mist uoru hair with your favorite hairspray to make the volume last throughout the day!
Tip: Detangling your teased hair is very easy! Just work in some intense frizz removing serum through your tresses and brush your hair gently using a wide-toothed comb!
3. Apply Dry Shampoo
While you wait a day or two to shampoo your hair, your scalp begins to become oily and your tresses look dirty and limp. If you wish to prevent your hair volume from getting sabotaged by natural oils, apply dry shampoo on your roots and along the length of your tresses for a quick and easy fix.
The right way to apply dry shampoo is to spray it on your scalp right after blow-drying your hair. It helps to stop the oil on your scalp from reaching your hair shaft, making your tresses look thick and voluminous. Spritzing dry shampoo through the lengths of your strands also helps to create good texture and movement!
